Make it stand out.
For this project, I had the task to create a user interface design that was a website specifically for a hypothetical gym based in Brunswick. The gym was called PackFit and needed a rebranding and I was chosen to continue with this task.
Beginnings
I started by ideating a logo for this brand. This came with brainstorming and sketching ideas related to a gym environment, before moving into software work on Adobe Illustrator. From there I was able to further develop these ideas into realistic, usable logos.
refinement
Moving forward, The client and I chose a logo that we both beleived represented the brand well yet needed some final refinements. With that I was able to keep going and further develop ideas with this icon.
Once the client and I settled on a specific primary and secondary logo for the gym, I generated a brand style guide showing the finalised logo, colour way, fonts and what the logo would look like on dark/light backgrounds.
production
After everything was set in stone, it was time to start the production. I generated 13 different pages for this website with notable pages such as the home page, contact page, membership page and a point system for gym users to follow and gain rewards from PackFit.
Overall, I was very happy with the way this design came out as the logo created clearly represented the brand. There was a clear aesthetic that was continuous and didn’t break off and this was something that appealed to the audience as something they would use.
